Embarrasing ly enough, I actually slightly misunderstood the definition of “social entrepreneurship”, but I guess it wasn’t too much of a problem, since my aim was to inspire people in general and to think about entrepreneurship in a different way. Yesterday, on Wednesday October 1st, I gave a very short speech at a conference organized by IT Forum Midtjylland. The theme of the conference was “living in a digital world” and the other speakers included the likes of Marc Prensky and Anne Lise Kjaer.

In my life, projects, ideas and meetings take up a good part of my time. This is what makes my life challenging and interesting. However, the lack of any overall schedule and the fact that almost every day I have to reinvent my life, is also what makes it rather stressful at times.

Today Helle and I gave a short presentation about our website GadeMode and talked about entrepreneurship at the Varde Handelskole og Handelsgymnasium. We told the story about how we started GadeMode.dk and how the project has developed up until today . Our aim was to show that everyone can do a project like this and henceforth, we encouraged the students to start their own projects.

During Scout Festival 2008, I tried hard to catch the attention of the daily press. I felt (and I still feel) that Scout Festival has some really interesting elements that were worth writing about. First of all, we made history by building the first newbuilt mosque in Denmark.

In August 2008 , a special group of the YMCA Scouts in Denmark organized a brand new type of event. The combination of the best elements of scout camp with music/party marked the creation of Scout Festival. With some additional innovation and creativity, the Scout Festival became a complete unique experience for all participants.

GadeMode(tm) is a photo blog o street style phontography in Denmark, founded by Helle Rohde Andersen and myself. It shows one new picture every day, highlighting the characteristics and features of the outfit. Users of the site can comment on the photos and more generally, discuss fashion and design. It is the most influential street style blog in Denmark, with more than 2.000 unique individual visitors each day.

If you live in New York City, you know that there is always something going on somewhere and if you know the right people you will know where to go. However, in a small town like Århus, there is not that much to do and when there is finally is something new and exciting going on, you sometimes risk to miss out on it.

I guess I simply enjoy doing things. This could range from: making coffee, to meeting someone or to writing a book. As a person, I write, I teach, I develop websites and webdesign, I help people start up their new projects or even companies, I take photos, attend meetings, study, read books and magazines. Luckily, I have found a way to make a living, doing something I absolutely love.

My life is about doing what I feel like. I don’t restrict myself to one job or one past-time activity. Personally, I want my virtual online identity to reflect my life style. My identity should be a collection of the diversity of my activities. This encompasses: my cocktail reviews, my website portfolio. my pictures, my random ideas and thoughts and my resume.

They met during a leadership training program and decided to stay in touch so they could exchange valuable insights and experiences. The personal website has evolved from a standard business card to an online portfolio. Some switched to blogs, whilst others moved into the online open spaces of social networks like MySpace and Facebook. My old website had become a Hemmingwayan island, perpetually isolated from the real action and consequently fragmented into numerous sub-sites for various projects.

During the past seven years I’ve been doing quite a lot of projects evolving around the concept of e-learning. Most recently, I worked with Finanssektorens Uddanelsescenter (the Educational center for financial institutions) creating small games and other activities to give the user a break from the actual learning.
