You know how it looks. Corporate photography. You see it in company brochures. On company websites. Usually real employees exposed in very unnatural situations. Carefully instructed by the photographer. Always very aware of the camera and the flashing studio strobes. Always smiling like lunatics – although never enough to cover up for their anxiety about the whole situation. Read more.

On Thursday May 28th I gave a short eight minute talk at IT Forum Midtjylland Update 09. Proclaiming that I would save the it business by leading a new path of innovation powered by fun, joy and happines I compared myself to Moses, Jesus and Steve Jobs.

Today, I gave a presentation at the Århus Teknisk Skole for a class of multimedia designers. I was invited to talk about one of my favourite subjects of all times – me. I began my presentation by explaining that my ultimate goal was to save the planet and everyone on it.

After visiting the photo exhibition of Jens Peter Engedal (“Yes We Can”, January 2009) I felt really inspired by his photo exhibition format. The exhibition was based on one single idea, which was thoroughly executed and consequently presented as his personal statement.

Embarrasing ly enough, I actually slightly misunderstood the definition of “social entrepreneurship”, but I guess it wasn’t too much of a problem, since my aim was to inspire people in general and to think about entrepreneurship in a different way. Key to my speech: Redefining and perpetuating what I do.

Yesterday, on Wednesday October 1st, I gave a very short speech at a conference organized by IT Forum Midtjylland. The theme of the conference was “living in a digital world” and the other speakers included the likes of Marc Prensky and Anne Lise Kjaer.

Today Helle and I gave a short presentation about our website GadeMode and talked about entrepreneurship at the Varde Handelskole og Handelsgymnasium. We told the story about how we started GadeMode.dk and how the project has developed up until today . Our aim was to show that everyone can do a project like this and henceforth, we encouraged the students to start their own projects.

During Scout Festival 2008, I tried hard to catch the attention of the daily press. I felt (and I still feel) that Scout Festival has some really interesting elements that were worth writing about. First of all, we made history by building the first newbuilt mosque in Denmark.
