Article: Aarhus And The City – Part 2/3

Published on December 1st, 2007

Martin Roald on top of the house in Brooklyn, where he was living in fall 2007.

In my second article about New York, I focused on how to get there. How can you get to experience the life in Manhattan if you are from Denmark and do not have a work permit?

I asked two Danish students, who were doing internships at the time.

Martin was interning as an architect and Marianne was at a non-profit organization. It was really interesting to see how they had each managed to find a way to do so. Furthermore, they both explained what they found to be the most interesting aspects of the city.

The article was published in the December 2007 issue of Delfinen (#137)
