At first I found Twitter to be way too invading in terms of privacy. Why would I want everyone to know what I’m doing right now? I already find the Facebook status-updates to be slightly over sharing – why would I need a new system?

Actually, it is not so much the fact that I want to be like everyone else, I do want to stand out in a way. I would like to end up in the position, where neither myself or anybody else perceives me as a tourist or visitor.

I guess I simply enjoy doing things. This could range from: making coffee, to meeting someone or to writing a book. As a person, I write, I teach, I develop websites and webdesign, I help people start up their new projects or even companies, I take photos, attend meetings, study, read books and magazines. Luckily, I have found a way to make a living, doing something I absolutely love.

The personal website has evolved from a standard business card to an online portfolio. Some switched to blogs, whilst others moved into the online open spaces of social networks like MySpace and Facebook. My old website had become a Hemmingwayan island, perpetually isolated from the real action and consequently fragmented into numerous sub-sites for various projects.
